Newly remodelled in 2020! The Beachcomber is a great place to stay whether you like to kick back and watch the Pacific or walk it's beautiful beach. It is comfortably furnished with three bedrooms. The first-floor master bedroom has a king bed, the south upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the upstairs "dormitory" bedroom has three twin beds, including a trundle bed. The upstairs bathroom is a full bathroom and the first floor also has two full bathrooms, including one in the master bedroom and one off the laundry and sun room. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Beach access is right out your back door and with a private staircase. There is a very large multi-level deck on the south side of the home and a cozy west facing balcony off of the master bedroom.

We will be upgrading and updating the home beginning March 1 we anticipate all new flooring throughout the entire home by May 2021, along with other new furniture and items. Great views with lots of bedrooms (5 plus loft) make this a great vacation home. It is quite easy access for those who don't want to do a lot of stairs, only requiring a few to get into the house, then it is all but the loft on the same level.   Enjoy wonderful ocean views from the living, kitchen, dining, loft, deck and master bedroom. House layout: The front door leads stright through to the living /dining area, or left to the kitchen, all of which have wonderful views. There is a large screen smart TV with cable. The kitchen is open to the other living areas, and a deck is just off the dining room. Above the living area is a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds. Off the living area is a queen bedroom, with a bathroom that is also shared by the living spaces.  Down the hall is another queen bedroom, which shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with the large master bedroom with a king bed.  Off the hallway and past the laundry room is a small family room with another TV. from there you can access another full bath and two more queen bedrooms. There is a separate entrance to the family room area as well, and a peekaboo view of the ocean. Our private beach access is just down a path then a sandy hill. Public beach access is about 1/2 mile away.  Sometimes there is no creek directly in front of our access, and sometimes there is, based on winter storms.  The creek is usually shallow in the summer, and a great place for kids to play farther away from the bigger surf. It's a very quiet area, with lovely views.  You will need a car, and there is plenty of parking available.  It's a short drive to Old Town's shops and restaurants, and about 4 miles south to Bandon Crossings' great golf or 20 minutes north to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.  Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and restaurants, a crabbing and fishing dock, and charter fishing. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is on a bluff that overlooks the ocean. And with a path leading down to the beach, the ocean is just steps away. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a sitting area with a double-sized futon. The other two bedrooms have either a queen-sized bed or 2 twin-sized beds. There is also a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room that has an innerspring mattress. The two bathrooms both have showers and one also has a tub. Built in 1934, two years before a fire wiped out most of the town of Bandon, this rustic cabin is loved by many coastal vacationers. Except for a few modern amenities, this cabin feels just like it did all those years ago. Just down a flight of stairs to a secluded feeling beach cabin with a private deck and one of the best ocean views on the Oregon coast. You will have plenty of room to spread out in this 6+ BEDROOM HOME, whether your are here to try your hand golfing in Bandon, or just ready to relax and  enjoy friends or family reunions.  There's plenty of room for everyone in a lovely setting. Maximum occupancy is 16 per listing rules at this time. Note that Coos County, Oregon is subject to Covid reopening guidelines set down by the governor's office. For current conditions you can visit govstatus.egov.com/reopening-oregon.  The huge country kitchen is great for your group and seats 12 in there with more space in the dining room.  Plenty of space for gathering, or retreating to a bedroom for privacy.   Lots of beds and baths:  12 beds, 4 2/2 baths. There are 2 king bedrooms downstairs, one with a bathroom en-suite and another right next to a shared bathroom.  Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. One of them has a separate alcove with a daybed and extra twin mattress. It also has a half bathroom ensuite.  Another bedroom has a full bath en suite, and there is another full bath upstairs to share. There is also a twin trundle bed in a loft, and another day bed in a public area.  We also have a futon bed downstairs in an enclosed porch, near the foosball table.  THere are 2  sofas in the living room that fold down into full beds. The final half bath is near the kitchen.  PERFECT FOR GOLFERS: This setting is perfect for golfers - just a wedge to the first tee, with the driving range literally steps out the door. It's the only house at the golf course, and is unique in its location. As guests of our house, you will be afforded special rates for golfing at Bandon Crossings, which is a lovely and challenging course. If you're new to the game, or a bit rusty, lessons and rental clubs are available.  WONDERFUL LOCATION:  The weather, less than a mile from the ocean, is very mild, and often more comfortable than right at the coast.  The closest beach access is about 2 1/2 miles away, with many other options within a 15 minute drive.  The house is about 5 miles south of the town of Bandon, easy to get to right off US Highway 101.  Although there are shuttles and taxis available, we recommend private cars for the most convenient stay.   Enjoy the large spacious home. Guests are welcome in the entire house, except for a small owner's suite that has a separate entrance, and two storerooms.  We may not be in attendance during your stay, although if we are, we usually stay to ourselves and allow guests to feel at home without interference. The Lighthouse River Inn (LRI) was completely renovated in 2018. There is also a breaking ocean spray at high tide off our property's new seawall located at the NW side of the house. **Walk to restaurants and shops, only a block away. Fishing boats are seen coming and going on a daily basis. Our beautiful new home is located on the Jetty in Bandon across from the Lighthouse, on a quiet street with only three houses. The house faces North to Bandon Dunes with views of a small Beach to the right looking directly up the estuary into town. It is a breath taking spot with an ever changing scenery. There are always boats passing by, seals playing and even Orca sightings right in front of the house. The small Beach to the right leads into town and the Main Beach to the left is only 200 yards away. Our home is furnished with all of the best equipment including a Bose Stereo Music System with surround sound, Flat Screen TV, Wet Bar, a state of the art kitchen with a Wolf Range and top of the line Oven\Microwave system. The Pelican's Nest is a stunning 3100 sq.ft. custom home which displays quality throughout with Beautiful White Water Views. The interior is built with clear, finished white cedar and displays three 8'x8' skylights and large windows upstairs to bring in the sun, moon and the stars. Downstairs begins with a spacious foyer leading to a large gourmet kitchen with room for several chefs to create wonderful meals. Fresh fish may be purchased locally for a special treat. NO STAIRS TO ENTER OUR HOME. ONE BEDROOM AND BATH ON GROUND FLOOR WITH KITCHEN, DINING, TV ROOM and BACKYARD ALL WITH OUT CLIMBING STAIRS! The dining table has two leaves to expand to 8' to accommodate your group. In addition we have a breakfast bar that will seat 3 to 4 others. There is also a private fenced courtyard with an entrance from the kitchen making barbecues and outdoor seating easily accessible. The Television/Game Room is off the kitchen which provides DISH with Movie Pack and Music Channels on a 32' Flat Screen with DVD Player. All of the floors and counters are beautifully tiled. In addition, the first floor has a full bath with a glass and tile shower and a bedroom with 2 queen beds. On the second floor you will find the living room. Make yourself comfortable on our large couch and enjoy views of the ocean. This expansive room features skylights and a gas fireplace for a quiet relaxing day or romantic evening. You will also find a new 50' SMART Flat Screen Television (Use your Netflix ect.) with Movie Pack and Music Stations plus a Blu-ray Player. One of the suites features an extra long, extra deep soaking tub surrounded by tile. Take a long bubble bath to relax and pamper yourself after a day of golf, shopping, beach combing or just having fun on the Southern Oregon Coast. This room has one king and one twin bed. You will also find a skylight over the king bed! In the second master suite you will find a comfortable queen bed along with another twin bed. This full bath also features a glass and tile shower. Bandon Ocean Breeze is a very comfortable and spacious custom built two story family home with wonderful views of the beach and South Jetty. This well-equipped home boasts two full living levels. On the upper level there is a large open concept kitchen, spacious living and dining room, master bedroom/bathroom and separate guest bedroom with full bathroom. On the lower level, there is a family room with futon bed sofa, mini-kitchen with table, two guest bedrooms, full bath and laundry. This home is ideally located on Bandon's famous South Jetty where the Coquille River meets the Pacific Ocean. Being on the jetty means you are right at beach level and have direct beach access just a short walk down the block. Once on the sand, you can stroll for miles, enjoying the abundant wildlife and wonderful views. You will see a wide array of birds, and maybe even a whale or some seals. Within another short walk you can also get to Bandon's famous "Old Town" where you will find lots of cute shops, fabulous bistros and restaurants. Finish off your day watching the beautiful sunsets from one of the two covered sun decks.
